Hi! My name is Robin and I’ve been a local dog walker and care provider for pets for over ten years!!! I'm currently in training to become a certified dog trainer and am enrolled in a master level course. Growing up I’ve always had dogs, as well as many other animals, from birds, to cats, to hamsters and iguanas. I’ve always loved animals, dogs especially. My own dog, Charra stole my heart eleven years ago and she was one of the main reasons I applied to be a dog walker, after leaving the corporate life. During that time I spent my entire summer with Charra and decided I couldn’t go back to sitting behind a desk.... and wanted to do what I loved most!....be with dogs/pets, all day every day! I have worked with many breeds of dogs. I pride myself with the bonds I make with each and every one of them, along with the reliability and relationships I create with my clients. As a pet owner myself, I know exactly how hard it can be to find someone you can truly trust with your dog/pet, as well as your home! My clients can rest assured knowing their dogs/pets are taken care of; as if they were my very own! When we (Robin's Pet Squad) come into your home they are treated with the utmost respect and professionalism! I hope you will allow us the privilege of walking and caring for your dogs/pets, as if they were our very own!
My Squad Training Program
Each and every member of our squad is trained by me and a senior dog walker. They are trained on; muzzles, harness, on leash dog walking, off leash dog walking, voice command, dog overheating signs, frost bite signs, behavior-aggression, senior dog care, handling puppies, E collars, positive reinforcement, and general 1st aid i.e. cuts, broken legs or feet, and torn ears. Each team member is not allowed to advance within the company until they meet strict training guidelines insuring that every pet is cared for to my personal company standards. Once a team member is trained they will be certified by Robin's Pet Squad L.L.C. (a personally developed online certificate course) and allowed to care for our clients pets. The training program consist of; 80% hands on training and 20% online testing to insure complete team member comment, towards each pet cared for.
Squad's Reliability
We respect each clients needs whether it be dog walking, dog boarding, overnight pet sitting. If a walker is out for any reason we take pride in being able to still show up (other walker, myself Robin etc..). We work within a redundant system; each client will have one main squad member and two back up members. We do allow you to meet your team member at no extra charge. We all work together to familiarize ourselves with your pet so that if a squad member is out for unforeseen reasons, we know your pet is still being well cared for by a familiar face. We believe this constant routine is less stressful on our clients pet(s).
My Squad Security Policy
To provide a safe work environment we absolutely do not accept cash. We provide a weekly invoice that can be paid via card or check both online, by mail, or over the phone. Our secure system does not record any of your card or bank information, unless requested and that reoccurring billing information is stored and encrypted via Square Inc. The copies of any house keys are secured by your team member and one copy is stored (for unforeseen circumstances) by management. Every team member is trained to triple check that any house left, is locked and your pet has been returned as we found them, or by your direction. We never sell any information you provide us for any reason. Any information we have (name, address, dog type) is kept in a secure database with management ONLY!. Just like car insurance, we all hope we never have to use it! Being in the dog walking industry for over eleven years we have learned that not all Premier/Top dog walking service providers keep updated insurance (they let it lapse). We are Elite, we never let ours lapse...that we promise!
